Dr. Gail Weingast’s contributions to radiology in New England have been nothing short of transformative. As the Chief of Ultrasound and Breast Imaging at William W. Her path to radiology was an unconventional one. Starting with a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish from Tufts University, she later shifted to medicine, earning her MD from Boston University School of Medicine in 1976.
